Sculptor, draftsman, graphic artist.

1933-34 Attended the Academy of Applied Arts in Dresden
After 1938 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden
1946-52 Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich (under Willi Geiger and Ernst Geitlinger (1951-52))
Also worked as a freelance graphic artist in Munich from 1947
1962-77 Teacher of graphic arts, painting, and lettering at the Education Center for Architecture and Design and at the Master School for Fashion in Munich.
