The substantial 36-inch … Read more A mid-20th-century American mahogany drum table by Weiman Tables from the company's Heirloom Quality line, Model 5040. The substantial 36-inch circular table features a warm burgundy-brown leather top decorated with concentric gilt-tooled foliate borders and surrounded by carved rope molding. The deep drum-form apron incorporates figured mahogany drawer fronts with traditional brass bail pulls and richly carved decorative detailing. The table is supported by an elaborate carved central pedestal terminating in three sweeping Chippendale-style legs with foliate carving and substantial ball-and-claw feet. The table retains its Weiman Heirloom Quality maker identification and Model 5040 designation. See less
