magnificent french chandelier or "cage" lamp of cut and faceted crystal. Bronze structure, composed of several tiers of arms, with eight lights between them. It features a complex design, as each arm curves and divides into others, creating different heights and giving a sense of grandeur. A large crystal sphere hangs from the center.

it should be noted that this type of lamp is often adorned with various glass pendants to refract the light and thus contribute to creating an elegant ambiance wherever it is placed. Among the pendants, the solid cut crystal pendants stand out, slightly faceted with beveled edges in various sizes. Extraordinary lamp in good condition for its age and use, difficult to find in the art market in this large size. Double-section lamp, currently only one section is connected.

the louis xv style is an artistic style, especially prevalent in the decorative arts, that developed during the reign of louis xv (1715-1774). Initially, the term "louis xv style" referred to a characteristic type of chair, but it quickly spread to all the arts of the period. It is identified with the rococo architectural style.
