1920s Masterpiece from Nordiska Kompaniet Table Lamp 'model 26550' - Designed by Erik Tidstrand - Brass shade on bronze ba Elegant Swedish table lamp designed by Erik Tidstrand for Nordiska Kompaniet during the 1920s, model 26550.
The lamp features a refined combination of brass, bronze and pollopas, creating a sophisticated contrast typical of high-quality Swedish lighting from the period. The slender tapered central section is framed by classically shaped brass and bronze details, while the substantial circular base gives the lamp a well-balanced presence.
The broad metal shade has a low, architectural profile and directs the light downward, producing a warm and atmospheric illumination. Beneath the shade, the lamp is fitted with two screw fittings, enhancing both its functionality and decorative effect.
The lamp is marked “6550”, corresponding with model 26550.
