A beautiful antique English table lamp made of turned and carved walnut, with a fluted shaft resting on an oval base featuring a decorative rim.
Exquisitely detailed, with a wonderfully warm colour, and complete with the original fitting, lead and plug.
The lampshade is not original to this lamp;
I have sourced this one specifically because the colour matches the column perfectly and, moreover, it is a high-quality lampshade, made in England.
If you look closely at the lamp base, you will see that an immense amount of love and craftsmanship must have gone into the design and detailing to give this lamp its superb character.
