Created as part of the compact and highly functional kitchens developed under Charlotte Perriand’s direction, the unit features three horizontal shelves supported by distinctive sculpted pine side panels. These curved profiles give the otherwise practical storage piece a strong architectural and sculptural character.

The warm pine structure is combined with contrasting white laminate shelf surfaces. Originally intended for crockery and kitchen utensils, the piece can now serve as a wall-mounted display shelf, open bookcase or storage unit.

The model is documented in a period photograph of an Arc 1800 kitchen published in Jacques Barsac’s Charlotte Perriand: Complete Works, Volume 4, 1968–1999, page 253.

Good vintage condition with a warm patina. Scratches, small marks, minor edge wear and visible traces of the original installation remain. The structure is solid and stable.
