The generously proportioned rectangular top is inset with glossy ivory ceramic tiles divided by soft blue-gray grout lines. Two decorative groupings of floral tiles form large square medallions down the center of the table, each surrounded by delicate blue flowers, leaves and scrolling botanical details. Against the otherwise restrained ivory tile field, the decoration has a wonderful vintage European-country quality.

The substantial wood frame provides a warm contrast to the pale ceramic top. A softly rounded wood perimeter surrounds the tile field, while the apron incorporates gently scalloped detailing and four slender turned legs. The combination gives the table a lighter and more refined appearance than many tile-top dining tables of the period.

The underside reveals traditional furniture construction with wood apron components and corner reinforcement brackets. An “DX” mark is present on the underside, although the manufacturer has not been definitively identified.

At 58.5 inches long, the table is nicely sized for a kitchen, breakfast room or smaller dining space and comfortably lends itself to seating four, with the possibility of additional seating depending on chair dimensions.

Its mix of creamy white ceramic, powder blue florals and warm wood would work especially well in French Country, Cottagecore, Grandmillennial, Traditional, English Country or eclectic vintage interiors.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with prior use. The ceramic tile surface presents very well overall, retaining a clean, glossy appearance with attractive blue floral decoration. Wood components show scattered scratches, rubbing and finish wear. There is notable finish loss and wear to portions of the turned legs, particularly around the decorative rings and lower feet, as clearly shown in the photographs. Additional minor surface marks and wear are present to the wood perimeter and apron. The table remains sturdy and presents beautifully overall.
