A solitary figure stands before a landscape alive with summer light. His face remains unseen, allowing him to become less a portrait than a presence, a quiet human form held between earth and sky. The photograph reflects on the private experience of looking: the brief moment in which the world appears immense, unfamiliar and entirely one’s own. The figure does not enter the landscape or retreat from it. He simply stands before it. This work is offered in a limited edition of 20 at 40 × 32 cm.
