Up for sale is this gorgeous print from a vintage portfolio of reproductions of the Codex Manesse, the most famous Medieval manuscript produced in German. It is matted in a pH neutral 14x18 mat for ease of framing in a ready-made frame. Measuring 11" x 15" overall, it is in excellent condition, as pictured, and is printed with metallic gold paint, making it that much closer to the original illuminated manuscript illustrating courtly lyric poetry and created in Zurich in the early 14th Century. For those of us who can't afford the original, it's the next best thing - and so romantic!
