Rare & Original Velvet Smoking Tobacco Porcelain Sign for your consideration. The sign measures approx. 39 inches long and 12 inches tall. American, first quarter 20th Century. Advertising, one sided, porcelain over metal, cobalt blue background with sky-blue border. The sign reads, "Velvet" "SOLD HERE" "The Smoothest SMOKING TOBACCO". Artwork depicts open pocket tin on serving tray with burning pipe forming the title our of rising smoke. Overall, good antique condition with obvious signs of wear. Areas of loss, rust, edge chipping, fading, soiling, etc. Natural aged patina. See photos. Displays nostalgic!
