The frame features a richly gilded decoration in pastiglia, with ornamental leaf and bead motifs. The upper cornice is particularly distinctive, adorned with a large love knot made of intertwined, fluttering ribbons. The lower section is enriched with leaf motifs and scrolls, with a small central pendant. It retains its original antique silver-plated mirror, embellished with a wide beveled edge that runs along the entire oval profile. The mirror surface shows light traces of oxidation and signs of aging, which pleasantly preserve its antique character. The gilding has a beautiful patina, with natural wear and variations in tone. There are traces of previous restorations and retouching of the gilding and pastiglia, some small cracks and normal signs of aging, consistent with its age and use.
