An expressive hand-carved sculpture by dutch artist h. Hinfelaar, created from pearwood. The elongated organic form follows the natural character of the wood, with flowing curves, an open section and subtle irregularities giving the piece a distinctly sculptural presence.
the warm tone and natural grain of the pearwood have developed a beautiful aged patina, while the simple layered plywood base provides a restrained architectural contrast.
