The lamp features a spectacular glossy orange molded plastic shade, complemented by a polished chrome upper fitting and an original-looking black spiral suspension cable. The softly rounded, UFO-inspired form creates a particularly strong Space Age character and makes the piece an impressive sculptural element within an interior. The combination of saturated orange, reflective chrome and rounded geometry is typical of the futuristic aesthetic associated with Guzzini and Meblo during the 1970s. Comparable examples are documented as Meblo-produced Guzzini lighting from this period. The suspension is adjustable, allowing the lamp to reach approximately 140 cm / 55.1 in in total height.
