Original 1970s Czechoslovakian pendant lamp with a distinctive Space Age silhouette and an unusual coiled suspension system. The lamp features a broad, shallow black metal shade with a light-colored interior, creating a strong contrast and directing the illumination downward. The original spiral suspension is an especially characteristic feature of the design and provides adjustable hanging height. with its restrained geometric form and striking black finish, the lamp works particularly well in Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, modernist, retro and industrial interiors.
