Exceptional antique French Louis XVI/Neoclassical Regency style guéridon occasional table dating from the late 19th to early 20th century (Belle Époque era).
This premium, bench-made piece beautifully balances historic elegance with master-level cabinetmaking, making it a highly versatile statement piece perfect as a sofa end table, lamp table, or entryway accent.
Features a beautifully veined, solid white Carrara-style marble top cradled securely within a protective, hand-fitted brass rim.
The brass rim showcases a premium, fine stippled/textured gallery bound by smooth polished borders and held by original hand-set pins.
The central mahogany pedestal column features gorgeous, crisp stop-fluted detailing.
The lower joinery block is accented with elegant, geometric diamond stringing parquetry/marquetry inlay and exceptional crotch-mahogany grain matching on the sweeping tripod legs.
The table rests on premium, heavy-gauge square brass sabot cap feet featuring integrated, fully functional brass caster wheels.
The hidden underside assembly block features an authentic, handwritten script "D" workshop/cabinetmaker mark, confirming its boutique, custom-bench-made heritage.
