Dated to the early 20th century, this upright cabinet from northern China has a timeless and minimal design that blends into any interior. Tailored like a good suit, the square-corner cabinet has been modified to a narrowed frame in keeping with traditional joinery methods. The double doors open to reveal four shelves and an interior drawer, while a second drawer provides additional storage below. A dark, black lacquer finish accentuates the cabinet's clean lines, decorated only by the full moon brass lock plate and teardrop pulls.
