The piece is signed and dated by the artist, is framed and in great condition. Original piece.

Artist Istvan Karoly Szasz (1909-1979) was a large format artist, working on paintings, graphic design, art conservator and art publicist- his work range from the post surrealist period until the 1970s op art scene.

Szász Károly István (Budapest, 1909. november 2. – Budapest, 1979. november) painter, graphic, restorer, art writer.

His father and master was Szász István. Firstly he studied literature and poetry, he started his painter career when he was 40. Szász Károly's work has been
exhibited worldwide and in Poland. He made a number of literary-themed graphics and illustrations, but also dealt with enamel and glass mosaics.
He described his paintings from the late 1960s as “depicting the psycho-cosmos”. This piece has an attribution mark,
