Presenting a beautiful and remarkably proportioned vintage Chinese hardwood display cabinet (also known as a Curio or Miniature Bógǔjià).

The piece features a classic Chinese architectural aesthetic with an open, two-tiered shelving structure. The top and bottom shelves are adorned with elegantly carved, interlocking cloud-and-vine spandrels (牙板).

The central body is meticulously designed with two flanking small cabinet doors with brass hinges, and a stack of three perfectly aligned drawers in the center, each fitted with a traditional dark metal drop pull. The doors open to reveal clean, spacious storage compartments. The cabinet is crafted from densely grained hardwood with a rich, warm, dark reddish-brown patina and beautiful natural wood grain. It stands on four sturdy legs.

This versatile piece is highly sought-after as a display stand for small porcelain vases, teapots, or scholar's rocks. It also serves as an exceptionally elegant tabletop storage case or a small side table.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The cabinet is structurally sound, sturdy, and rigid.
