Vintage rare and very uniquely original porcelain sculpture or assemblage created by very well known late British ceramist artist Eileen Nisbet in late nineteen seventies or early eighties. This piece measures 13.5 inches in length and 8.5 inches in height. It is max. 2 inches deep.
The paper thin porcelain pieces are connected with cylindrical parts. Some of them are decorated with multicolored porcelain inlays.
Eileen Nisbet pioneered this kind of sculptural work in Great Britain using porcelain as a main material. Her works can be found in numerous museums, institutions and private collections.
