Large crystal glass & brass wall sconce by orrefors & lyfa. 1960s
orrefors crystal and brass sconce in size xl in design by carl fagerlund, sweden. Thick mold-blown texturized crystal glass which is curved to a form of a half circle and held in place by two brass screws.
when the sconce is lit, the light sources and the richly textured crystal glass creates a soft illumination and spreads the emitted light in every direction. Hollywood regency meets scandinavian modernism and the sconces would fit perfectly as accent light in a living room or hallway, as bedside light or even in an office space.
