Each panel is hand-woven in a tight herringbone pattern and layered one over another, so the shade reads as a scalloped, flower-like silhouette when seen from below.

The shade hangs from its original wicker chain, which allows for a total drop of about 150 cm, making the fixture adjustable to different ceiling heights. Its rounded, layered profile suits a dining table, a reading nook, or a sunroom where a natural, textural light fixture is wanted, and it reads equally well in bohemian, coastal, or Organic Modern interiors. The tiered petal construction gives it a sculptural quality whether the lamp is lit or off.
