This couch was a statement piece and still … Read more Vintage 1960s Mike Bell couch purchased at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. This couch was a statement piece and still is! Fabric is the original Brunschwig & Fils "Chinese leopard toile" in the original gold/orange color scheme. This is not one of the modern reproductions! The fabric on the seat cushion is torn, so I am including 9.75 yards of the VINTAGE matching fabric, brand new! It took me years to hunt this fabric down. This is enough to redo the couch cushions, make arm repairs or arm covers, even matching curtains! Original metal zipper. Fabric is worn on arms. Some minor wear on cushions. Otherwise in beautiful shape and incredibly comfortable, especially considering its age. Currently located in Chicago. This is an amazing piece of design history. See less
