While often casually labeled as "Dragon's Breath" by collectors, the central cabochon is actually a foil-backed glass fire opal, featuring metallic foil embedded beneath a translucent dome to generate its intense orange-gold flash. Set in a multi-tiered brass leaf frame with prong-set blue glass sapphire crystal chatons and an authentic safety-clasp roll-over catch, the piece was constructed using exported Bohemian component parts from Jablonec and produced assembled in West Germany.
