Dramatic hand-forged iron floor candelabra by Jan Barboglio, featuring the designer's distinctive Mexican ironwork and richly textured, intentionally aged rust-brown patina.
Standing approximately 68.5 inches tall, this substantial sculptural candelabra features a tall twisted openwork standard rising from an elaborate scrolling tripod base. Nine gracefully curved candle arms surround the upper portion, each terminating in a scalloped, flower-form bobeche. Hand-hammered and textured iron surfaces throughout emphasize the artisan-made character of the piece.
The warm rust iron finish and expressive scrollwork reflect Jan Barboglio's signature aesthetic, combining Spanish Colonial, Old World and rustic Southwestern influences. At nearly six feet tall, this is an impressive statement piece suitable for a grand entryway, living room, dining room, fireplace setting or other large interior.
Designed to hold nine pillar candles, allowing the candelabra to function as both a sculptural decorative object and an atmospheric source of candlelight.
