An exceptional, exhibition-scale mid-century studio pottery vessel by artist Nora, showcasing commanding architectural scale, tactile surface work, and sculptural presence.
Featuring a dramatic silhouette with an articulated, wide-shouldered upper form, sculpted looping side handles, and a tall, ribbed lower pedestal, this piece exemplifies post-war American studio ceramic craft. The earthy palette combines warm undertones with layered ash-tan slips, dripped stoneware glazes, and expressive detailing.

Acquired directly from the distinguished estate collection of Eve Paige Spencer who's work is currently a permanent collection of the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery at Scripps College, California, and her husband, writer/collector Donner Spencer.
