The six upper doors are constructed with … Read more 1860's Impressive Dutch Pine Mercantile Cabinet - a harder wood than common Pine. The six upper doors are constructed with eight panes of glass in each door. The lower doors are solid with recessed panels. Each door has an iron locking system with keys to each lock. The upper section of the interior has been painted a common red barn which is standard for its primitive age. The crown is separated and is currently photographed at its heightened state with spacer blocks, and measured so. When lowered 1.5" is removed from the overall height. Low wattage electric flex tube lighting has been installed to the upper sectioned shelf. New wood strips added to the lower frond edge of the upper shelf to hide the strip of lights. That piece of wood has been painted red to blend with its original red barn paint.
In regard to condition, portions of the lower cabinet section have been reinforced to safely support the upper cabinet. One of lower locks is not operating.
Excellent overall condition for 1860's appropriate wear.

The cabinet separates from the Crown, 2 part Lower portion and upper cabinet
