Lazarus in 1952-53. A london maker, he was known for high-quality paste jewellery inspired by georgian and victorian designs.

this brooch is constructed from silver - it is stamped on the reverse with a leopards head and lion passant showing sterling standard silver. The letter 'r' is stamped to represent the date 1952-53 and the initials 'hal' are stamped for the maker harold a. Lazarus. The brooch features a floral spray design and is set with multi-faceted, round, colourless paste stones. The brooch fastens with a traditional safety catch and the fastening pin is attached to the brooch with a round hinge. The brooch measures 5.5cm x 2.5cm.
