It consists of just three elements: a square clear glass top, a chrome-plated column, and a glass base. Because the base is also made of glass, the table appears almost without a visible base; you can see right through it to the floor. The column tapers towards the center and terminates at the top and bottom in twisted chrome sections, the only curves that break the otherwise strictly geometric design. Both glass tops have softly rounded corners and a cleanly polished edge, revealing the characteristic green tint of the glass—not a flaw in this case, but rather proof of substantial material thickness. As a side table next to the sofa, it takes up virtually no visual space, which is especially important in smaller living rooms. Despite the slender column, the heavy glass base ensures stability.
