French bronze statue by Jacques Limousin, signed "LIMOUSIN," from the Art Deco period, depicting a woman with a bird on a marble base.
Made in France in the 1920s and 1930s.
It depicts an elegant female figure seated next to a garden wall, holding a bird in her right hand and flanked by a fawn or chamois.
The figure and the animal are crafted from patinated art metal.
It rests on an elaborate geometric black marble base combined with a shaped wall of mottled marble (such as onyx or pink/cream marble), complemented on the sides by two decorative marble spheres. This piece has an attribution mark,
