Elegant vintage reclining sleeping cat sculpture with a rich metallic antique-gold finish.
The cat is depicted curled peacefully with its paws tucked beneath its head and its rounded body forming a sleek, continuous sculptural silhouette. The simplified, elongated form gives the piece a distinctly mid-century modern / Hollywood Regency decorative character.
The surface has developed attractive age and handling wear, including fine scratches and areas where the metallic finish has softened or worn, adding dimension to the gold surface.
The underside retains a partial original retail barcode label and an oval “MADE IN CHINA” mark. The original manufacturer has not been identified. The exact underlying material is currently unconfirmed, so the piece is being offered as a gold-finish decorative sculpture rather than represented as solid brass or bronze.
