This intriguing work, affectionately named sally army after the salvation army, depicts members of this charitable organisation hosting a flag. It is gracefully drawn utilising the natural atmosphere of the etching technique. The artist was one of the founding members of the frome printmakers studio. This edition of the work is an artist's proof dedicated to juliet. Artist name: margaret sheaff (b.1928) date approx: 1950-1960 size : [framed] h 51 x w 57.3 x d 1.2 cm medium: etching on paper. Signed, numbered 'a/p for juliet' and titled 'sally army'. Condition: good. No glass in the frame. Comments: framed without glass. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
