In this work, the artist has been particularly inspired by the great master of this subject, juan sánchez cotán (1560-1627). This is a richly painted masterpiece of the genre. Guillermo martinez soliman was an argentinian artist, who travelled to europe in 1925, settling in belgium where he lived and exhibited.
