A rare executive desk designed by Peter Protzman for Herman Miller as part of the short-lived Tubular Collection — produced … Read more A rare executive desk designed by Peter Protzman for Herman Miller as part of the short-lived Tubular Collection — produced for only two years (1970–1971) due to high manufacturing costs, making surviving examples genuinely scarce. The bent-ply African zebrawood top appears to float between two sculptural, rounded chrome tubular frames. A center pencil drawer sits between two file drawers, each lined with smoked Lucite panels.

Original Herman Miller manufacturer labels are intact on the interior.

Condition is consistent with age: a couple of scratches and small areas of loss on the front are visible and shown in close-up photos. The wood grain and chrome frame otherwise present well.
