Created in 1885 to honor Hugo, this piece is signed on the right edge of the relief medallion "Rozet 85" by French sculptor René Rozet (1858–1939).

Features: Raised central profile portrait, corner floral rosette mounts, "VICTOR HUGO" title plaque, and pre-cast top mounting hole for hanging.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with original dark aged patina, minor surface wear consistent with age, and clean back casting.

Could be great in a library, billiards room, book collection room, man cave , or anyone a fan of Victor Hugo. See less
