The internal pages are crisp and unmarked with a perfectly tight binding. The dust jacket is intact and vibrant, showing only minor, negligible shelf wear on the top edges from careful handling.
Dust Jacket: Very Good. The front cover image remains bright, vibrant, and free of fading. The edges and corners are remarkably crisp. There is a very slight bit of minor softening/wrinkling at the topmost edges of the spine, which is common for a book of this size and weight, but there are no visible tears or deep scratches.
Binding & Spine: Excellent. Looking at the side profile shots, the heavy textbook binding remains structurally square and completely tight. The book has not begun to sag or warp away from the hardboards.
Hardcover Boards (Cloth Under-Jacket): Excellent. The slate-blue cloth underneath is clean, free of sun-fading, and the white debossed lettering is sharp and pristine.Internal Pages: Excellent. The pages lay flat and look crisp. The spectacular full-bleed color spreads (like the backyard pool scene) and historical maps show no signs of wrinkling, finger smudges, corner creases, or edge toning.
