Used in French vineyards for tasting wine and enjoying a small meal. Measuring 48" across x 30" high when folded down. While not used as a wine tasting table in our modern era, common uses are for casual kitchen breakfast nook or dining table, use for entertaining then fold away to create an eye catching sculptural interest of history. Great for extra seating during the holidays and while entertaining makes use of an extra food station or bar. These larger size tables are becoming harder to find in usable condition. Piece is made of solid and sturdy oak. Top has patina and could us a nice waxing to keep its character. Table has been reinforced underneath for a weak edge.
