## Description

An exceptional mid-century modernist dark patinated bronze head bust depicting a serene young Vietnamese woman, expertly hand-cast at the historic Saigon studio of celebrated master sculptor Nguyen Thanh Le (1919–2003).
Rendered with elegant restraint, the sculpture exhibits an introspective expression, smooth contours, and finely incised geometric lines defining the traditional stylized chignon. The bronze displays a deep, rich original aged patina with excellent luster and subtle dimensional highlighting.

The reverse of the lower neck features the official impressed "Thanh Lê" artist character hallmark alongside the original "MADE IN V.N." stamp. The sculpture stands seamlessly integrated on its original dark square plinth base, making it a sophisticated accent for a Hollywood Regency console, mid-century modern vignette, or a collection of fine Asian Modernism.
