The high back features an ornate, embossed floral and scroll motif on the crest rail, elegantly supported by turned vertical spindles. At its building it likely had a cane or leather seat but it was reupholstered at some time. The sturdy frame is built to last, complete with decorative turned front legs and reinforcing stretchers. This classic piece is in excellent structural condition, making it a perfect accent or functional addition to any historic or farmhouse-style home. See less
