PENNSYLVANIA, POSSIBLY CUMBERLAND CO., PAINTED FANCY CHAIRS, SET OF SIX, poplar and maple, the shouldered tablet back over a baluster-form splat flanked by turned posts and a shaped plank bottom, the whole raised on slightly splayed turned legs connected by an off-set box stretcher. Each retains its original paint-decorated surface which features a faux-grained rosewood base with a variety of flowers and a grouping of three cherries on the splat, the whole with pinstriping throughout. 32 3/4" HOA, 17 1/2" H seat, 15" x 14 1/2" seat.
