I simply love this fellow! Al Davidson had a talent of putting humor in his sculptures. His carvings are rarely seen on the secondary market, because if you are lucky enough to have gotten one, you probably don't want to part with it! He was able to create a character that had to make you smile. Al Davidson was especially known for thin elongated Canadian Mounted Police carvings (RCMP). Davidson's carvings were painted by his wife, Elsie Hannah. He has been included in a number of articles and lists of notable folk artists and outsider artists.
