Drawing on classic Queen Anne and Georgian design, the chairs feature gracefully shaped crest rails, distinctive vase-form splat backs, curved legs and upholstered seats. The two host armchairs are particularly striking, with sculptural open-scroll arms that give the set a strong decorative presence at the head and foot of a dining table.

All eight chairs retain coordinating cream upholstery with a subtle taupe floral motif. The understated neutral fabric pairs beautifully with the warm wood and allows the chairs to work easily in traditional, transitional and collected interiors.

Manufactured by Thomasville Furniture Industries of Thomasville, North Carolina, this unusually complete set provides seating for eight while retaining the desirable combination of six matching side chairs and two statement armchairs.

The chairs are in good vintage condition with expected evidence of previous use, including scattered scratches, small marks and finish wear. Two chairs have visible prior repairs/restoration at the lower feet, approximately quarter-sized, as documented in the photographs. The repairs appear stable. Upholstery presents well overall.
