Executed in a beautifully mottled, speckled green and gray soapstone, the piece showcases the distinct, expressive style of artist Chuck Poupart. The hunter figure features a separate, intricately detailed wooden paddle mounted to the deck and holds a removable slender spear lashed with traditional sinew alignment. The unpolished flat base is hand-signed "Chuck" in marker, a signature standard for Poupart's authentic regional works.
