The Guanyin features a tall, ornate crown centered by a small seated Amitabha Buddha. She is adorned with a delicate necklace and draped garments over her shoulders. The bronze has developed a spectacular, uneven patina over time—deep browns, blacks, and earthy tones—with visible traces of original gold gilding (Nianjin) that highlight the high points of the carving.
