Vintage Ronson Art Metal Works Table Lighter
An elegant vintage Ronson table lighter by Art Metal Works, Inc. of Newark, New Jersey. The sculptural silver-tone body features a beautifully detailed lobed form with raised beaded decoration and an integrated Ronson lighter mechanism.
The underside retains its original maker’s markings, including “RONSON,” “U.S. PAT. RE. NO. 19,023,” “ART METAL WKS INC.,” and “NEWARK N.J. U.S.A.” Patent Re. 19,023 was issued to Ronson founder Louis W. Aronson and Art Metal Works in 1933.
Beautifully aged surface with authentic patina, oxidation, scratches and wear consistent with age and use. I have intentionally left the original patina intact rather than heavily polishing the piece.
A wonderful collectible Ronson piece for display on a cocktail table, bar, desk or styled bookshelf. Lighter has not been tested and is being offered as a decorative collectible.
