Production Date: Stamped November 2011, giving this brick 14 years of natural post-fermentation aging.


Front Design: Features a beautifully detailed relief carving of the famous Red Cliff alongside a traditional junk boat.

Back Design: Features the official corporate Yang Lou Dong seal, the brand slogan "Precipitation/Aging is taste" and a historically rich relief depicting a bustling street scene from the ancient tea town during the peak of the Sino-Russian Ancient Tea Route.

This exact style of Hubei brick teas remain immensely popular in Mongolian and Tibetan nomadic cultures where the dense bricks are broken apart and boiled-often alongside milk and salt-to make traditional milk tea.

Very Good vintage condition. The edges are crisp and well-preserved. Light reveals slight scratch on backside of Brick. It has been stored strictly in a clean, smoke-free, and climate controlled environment to prevent any moisture buildup.

The plaque serves as a magnificent cultural display piece for an office, tearoom, or Asian art collection. It stands perfectly in a standard plate display easel (not included with purchase).
