The true standout feature is its magnificent, naturally aged exterior patina. The drawer fronts, door front, cabinet sides and feet showcase an incredible, heavy "alligator skin" crackle texture in two layers of weathered shades of historic blue and green milk paint. Based on the wear patterns, pigment styles, and the natural "alligatoring" of the finish, the two paints likely stem from distinct eras in the piece's long history.
