Make a bold statement with this magnificent, grand-scale vintage Indian war horse sculpture. Originating from Rajasthan, India, this striking floor-sized piece is masterfully hand-carved from solid wood and meticulously clad in hand-hammered mixed brass and copper sheets, intricately pinned to the core.
Modeled after the legendary Marwari war horses celebrated in Indian folklore, it showcases highly detailed ceremonial armor, a beautifully patterned saddle, and a stylized brass saddle horn. The mixed metallic tones have aged beautifully over time, developing an authentic, rich vintage patina that catches the light wonderfully.
At nearly 38 inches tall, this impressive sculpture possesses a commanding presence perfect for a sophisticated entryway, an eclectic living space, or a designer focal point.

This piece displays a gorgeous, authentic aged patina across the brass and copper cladding. As is typical with vintage solid-wood sculptures from India, there is a natural shrinkage separation gap at the joint of the raised leg due to the wood’s aging process. The sculpture remains a sturdy, stable, and visually spectacular statement piece. less
