This is an incredibly rare realistic portrait, executed with oil on canvas. Keil only created a small number of realistic pieces, making them quite valuable. It is signed “P. Keil” in the lower right corner. It is also signed on the verso and includes a quick marker drawing of Keil's iconic abstract faces.

This piece was purchased by the Bowen family as a routine purchase directly from the Keil family, acting on behalf of Peter.
