In the mid-1990s, this piece sold for $2,750.

The top features a fully hand-painted red, black, and light blue striped motif layered with hand-painted florals. A cubby storage compartment sits on top, flanked by two cabinet doors with floral details and turned wooden knobs. The four hand-turned legs are finished in coordinating red, black, and cream/yellow painted details.

With its curved silhouette and detailed hand-painted surfaces, this piece works beautifully as an entryway console, a writing desk, or a statement vanity, and pairs well with whimsical, eclectic, maximalist, or curated vintage interiors.
