Presenting a beautiful and versatile vintage Chinese small cabinet, perfectly sized for use as a tabletop cabinet, jewelry chest, or a charming bedside table.

Crafted from solid rosewood (Huali), the cabinet possesses a rich, warm reddish-brown patina and gorgeous natural wood grain that has aged beautifully over time. The front features two pairs of double doors with a central brass latch.

The upper section of the doors features fine, openwork fretwork in a geometric "Wan" (swastika) pattern. The lower section features beautifully carved circular medallions depicting stylized "Shou" (Longevity) characters surrounded by scrolling vines. The doors open to reveal a convenient interior configuration: two small drawers at the top, backed by an open storage space. The piece is finished with traditional metal hinges and rests on a simple, elegant base with a shaped apron.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The wood is sturdy with a beautiful, natural aged patina. All doors and drawers open smoothly. The metal hardware shows a natural, dark patina and slight oxidation consistent with age. Minor scratches and wear are consistent with use. No major structural damage or repairs.
